We are delighted that you are participating in the poster session, which is an integral part of the CELS conference and is always well attended. This year, it will be held from 5:15 – 6:30 pm on Friday, October 30 in conjunction with the reception. The poster session offers a great way to quickly communicate the basics of your project to a wide audience.
Here are a few points to keep in mind:
Poster files can be designed to the desired poster size with high-resolution images or charts embedded in a PowerPoint slide. Design should be set for a poster 36" x 48". The posters will be set on an easel and should be readable from several feet away. The final file must be submitted as a PDF. Other files such as PowerPoint or Adobe Illustrator will not be accepted. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
The PDF of your poster should be sent to Jared Berezin (email@example.com) by Wednesday, October 14th at 12 NOON (Central Time) in order for it to be printed and mounted in advance of the conference. Washington University School of Law will pay the cost of all posters received by the deadline.
If you miss the deadline, you will be responsible for printing and mounting the poster yourself. You may print your poster at the Fedex Office location within the WashU bookstore on campus. (P: 314-862-2173 or firstname.lastname@example.org). Please email Jared (email@example.com) to let us know by Friday, October 9th if you will not be able to submit your poster by the deadline. When you check in at the conference, please give your poster to conference staff at the registration table.
